ABBE Martin, from Dunsford, near Exeter, has been shortlisted in The Remote Worker Award.

She now stands a chance of winning a home-based franchise worth £15,000.

The award is the flagship prize in The Remote Worker Awards, in association with BT Business.

Entrants with an interest or an enthusiasm for social interaction and communication with young people were asked to show how they would combine their love of drama or their experience teaching children.
