I AM writing to report my disgust about abortion clinics. In the eyes of God, it is not permissible for these poor innocent babies to be slaughtered. Neither the mother nor the father has any right to end this child's life. It is tantamount to murder.

It is time that young girls take responsibility for the control that they either exercised or failed to exercise over their bodily functions in conceiving. Surely, the choice lies with God and not the poor girls whose impressionable minds are influenced by people who are poisoning their minds by telling them life would be easier by aborting their precious little lamb.

And there are many pitfalls for the mother such as depression, mental illness problems, and alcoholism.

Professor Priscilla Coleman of Bowling Green State University in the US, in a recent study analysing the experiences of more than 850,000 women, discovered that 160,000 of them had chosen to abort their babies, and clearly linked the choice to abort with a 34 per cent greater chance of anxiety disorders, a 37 per cent greater risk of depression, a 119 per cent greater risk of alcohol abuse, a 220 per cent increased cannabis use and a 155 per cent greater chance of committing suicide.

Coleman concluded "overall the results revealed that women who had undergone an abortion experienced an 81 per cent increased risk of mental health problems."

Coleman's carefully crafted scientific study merely corroborates a fact most of us already know: God equipped each of us with an inborn sense of good and evil.

Please follow that still small voice of your conscience and choose life for your baby. Many married couples would be thrilled to become mummy and daddy to the little one via adoption, surely a choice everyone could live with.

Please think with your hearts and do not allow yourself to follow the path of evil.
