Air passengers give Exeter a confidence vote
A delayed flight is many people's idea of a holiday nightmare, but it may not be all doom and gloom for passengers in the South West.
Exeter has been named as one of the best airports to get stuck in, according to a survey by a travel dating website.

The city's international airport was ranked in fourth place by 2,000 travellers who were asked where they would rather be if delayed by unforeseen circumstances.
The airport was admired, despite being one of the UK's smaller airports, carrying fewer than a million passengers a year, because of its proximity to the historic city and as a gateway to the South West. Factors such as shopping, amenities, entertainment, hotels, general cleanliness and food, as well as the availability of exclusive airline lounges and VIP areas, were all taken into account by the poll.
