A CHARITY supporting blind people is urging Exeter motorists not to park on pavements.

The plea from Guide Dogs for the Blind said parking on pavements was an "everyday nightmare".

Alun Gwernan-Jones, Guide Dogs' mobility team manager for the South West, said: "Imagine how terrifying it is to step into a road when you can't see oncoming traffic. Too often people with sight loss are forced out into busy roads because an inconsiderate motorist has blocked the pavement."
