Art show displays suffering of war
SUFFERING caused by war will be highlighted at a city exhibition of 60 paintings which opens on Friday.
Called 'Aftermath', it takes place at Exeter Castle until July 4.
The exhibition is part of the Exeter Summer Festival and produced by artists John McDermott, from Exeter, and Raya Herzig. Raya is a World War Two Nazi camp survivor and John was a former UN military observer in conflicts including the Falklands and the Gulf.
