The artists whose work is on display all live and work in this corner of Devon.

They include Bob Bradshaw, who lives in Seaton and has painted and sketched what is now known as the Jurassic Coast for more than 40 years. He has contributed an evocative snowy scene of the coast at Sidmouth, looking east, with the white of the snow accentuating the red sandstone of the cliffs.

Animal studies in the show include a picture of a dog enjoying a splash in the waves, by Favell Bevan-Arti. Favell was born in Kenya, studied art in Italy and has lived and painted in Northern Cyprus, and now lives in Sidmouth. She specialises in working in pastels, but also paints in acrylics. Chris Hooper, who lives at Budleigh Salterton combines a busy life as a dad of three with painting.

His work includes a study of a yacht moored at Topsham on the River Exe.

The exhibition is open from 10am-5pm each day, except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Visit www.eastdevonart.co.uk for more information.
