Assault charge
A Mid Devon man will appear in court next week charged with a number of sexual offences.
Christopher Bernard Redfern, 64, from Angel Hill, Tiverton, will face one rape charge, one count of indecent assault and three charges of gross indecency.
The alleged offences all date back to a period between 1988 and 1991.
Redfern is due to appear at Exeter Magistrates Court on Tuesday, October 9.
