Defender Pat Baldwin says the Exeter City defender’s patience on the ball in the second half paid off as they beat Accrington Stanley 2-0 to go third in the League Two table.

Jimmy Keohane got both goals, with the first coming in the 79th minute.

Baldwin also praised the home fans for getting behind the team after issuing a plea in this week’s Echo for them to show more vocal support for his teammates at St James’s Park.
