Bauza nets in reserve match
GUILLEM Bauza staked a claim for a return to first team action on Tuesday as he scored for Exeter City Reserves in their 1-1 draw against AFC Bournemouth Reserves.
The Spanish striker has made 10 appearances for the City this season including eight League Two games.
However, he hasn't featured for the Grecians, partly due to injury, since a substitute appearance in their 1-0 loss at home to Chesterfield on October 20.
Rhys Evans, another player to have fallen out of the first team in recent weeks produced a good stop to deny Wes Thomas in a lively first half in the match against AFC Bournemouth, played at the Cat and Fiddle Training Ground on Tuesday. Bauza then did well to follow up his initial shot to fire past the keeper from a narrow angle.

The Mallorca-born forward then had a powerful shot deflected over the crossbar following a good run through the Bournemouth defence.
Jimmy Keohane went close as he hit a right-foot shot just over the crossbar, before Thomas equalised for Bournemouth.
Youngster Jamie Reid could have won it late on, but he saw his angled drive rebound off the outside off the post.
However, City's assistant manager Rob Edwards was pleased with the performance especially as the Grecians fielded a young team.
"They all impressed me," he said. "I thought we had a really good performance against a lot of older players from Bournemouth.
"I thought our lads were excellent. There had a lot of attributes and a lot of skill to give them a tough game. I think Bournemouth were probably lucky to get a draw in the end."
