Big turnout for jobs fair at new Exeter airport hotel
More than 100 jobseekers flocked to find out more about employment opportunities at Exeter's newest hotel and restaurant.
Up to 40 positions are up for grabs at the Hampton by Hilton hotel which is rapidly nearing completion at Exeter International Airport. Eager candidates had a chance to find out more at a recruitment day held at the neighbouring Flybe Training Academy.
Newly appointed general manager Simon Fordham was on hand to talk to potential applicants about the variety of full and part-time roles available, which include receptionists, food and beverage staff, chefs and managers.
He said: "We are looking for people who know and love the area to give the hotel and restaurant that special Exeter spirit. We want our staff's personalities to make guests' visits memorable."

Work is continuing on the 120-bedroom hotel, which is due to open on March 1 and will feature an 85-seater Frankie's Bar & Grill – a restaurant collaboration between chef Marco Pierre White and jockey Frankie Dettori.
