Biker hurt in collision outside town hospital
A motorcyclist was treated for possible arm and rib injuries following a crash on a busy Tiverton roundabout.
The incident, involved a man riding a Ducati motorbike and a young woman driving a blue Vauxhall car, took place on the Kennedy Way roundabout by Morrisons and Tiverton Hospital shortly after 11am on Wednesday.
Initial reports suggested that a person was pinned under the front of the car but crews arrived to find no-one was trapped.
The window and off-side of the vehicle were damaged in the collision.
The man was tended by roadside paramedics before being taken by ambulance to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital for further treatment of his injured arm and ribs.
His injuries were not thought to be serious.
