A Birmingham bus routes call centre will be outscourced to Exeter in April, creating a loss of around 30 jobs in Birmingham.

Passengers using the Traveline West Midlands Service will have to call the Exeter office, 160 miles away, to find out local bus information.

The news was announced on Wednesday night many staff devastated at the redundancies.

Despite the lack on local knowledge from Exeter staff Traveline has promised no difference in service to its customers.
