Boss gives 'stability'
FORMER Plymouth Argyle manager Paul Sturrock says the stability Martyn Rogers provides has been a major factor in Tiverton Town's success.
The Scot, who is synonymous with the Pilgrims' recent rise through the divisions, believes the Yellows would not have clambered up the non-league ranks unless both Rogers and the club had been so committed.

Sturrock said: "Even at non-league level it is very rare to find one player or manager associated with one club for so long.
"But it's been very much to the benefit of the club Martyn's been there for so long.
"The stability Tiverton have enjoyed and the progress they have made is a result of him being there. The concept of a one-club man has benefited Tiverton."
