The blow-up monument, entitled Sacrilege, is a co-commission between the Mayor of London and Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art and is travelling across the country arriving in Exeter on 26th June.
Turner Prize-winning artist Jeremy Deller created the interactive art installation as part of the celebrations for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The artist has described his creation as: "looking at history in a playful way, having a sense of humour and being able to look at the past with a wry smile" and is designed to: "let the British Public interact with Stonehenge and have fun".
