TEN Tiverton swimmers competed in the long course (50m) Avalon Gala at Millfield.

Callum Stoneman was first in the boys' 12-and-under 200m backstroke and second in the 400m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 50m backstroke. Will Parr was second in the boys' 14-and-under 50m butterfly. Emily Abraham was the fastest nine-year-old girl in the 200m individual medley and the 200m freestyle, achieving personal best times in both races. Lucy Abraham took 18 seconds off her best in the girls' 12-and-under 200m backstroke and swam a personal best time in the 100m breaststroke.

Sophie Whittle was fourth fastest nine-year-old girl in the 200m individual medley. Personal bests were also achieved by Rosie Lepper (girls U11 100m breastroke), Stoneman (200m freestyle), Jess Lepper (U13 100m breaststroke), Adam Clewer (U12 200m breaststroke) and Alex Wilcox (50m breast).
