Car fire causes delays on A38
A car was "severely damaged" by fire this morning at the junction of the A38 and the A380 at the foot of Haldon Hill.
Two fire crews from Middlemoor and Danes Castle were called to the incident at Splatford Split at around 9.50am.

A spokesman for Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service said the private vehicle was "severely damaged" in the blaze, which is understood to have caused minor traffic delays on the busy route.
