Car crashes into hospital lamp-post - person thought trapped
The RD&E Hospital in Exeter was the site of an accident in the late afternoon hours when a car crashed into a lamp-post on the hospital's premises.
Initial reprts to the Fire Service suggested that a was person trapped in the vehicle and two units were mobilised from Middlemoor and Danes Castle.

However, when they arrived, they found the car which had collided with the lamp-post to be empty.
They made the area and car safe
