Cattle lorry suffers blaze on M5 near Exeter

Firefighters were called to attend a cattle lorry on fire on the M5 near Exeter this morning.

Three fire crews attended the incident, which happened at around 4am on the Northbound carriageway of the M5 between Junctions 28 and 29.

There were eight cows on board the lorry. The cause of the fire is believed to have been overheating brakes.
