Changes to First Bus 92 / 192 and 92A Tiverton service
Significant changes to a bus service between Tiverton and Taunton are set to take place next month.
Changes to First Bus services 92 / 192 (Taunton - Exeter) and 92A (Taunton - Tiverton) will take effect from Sunday 19 February 2012.

92A First Bus Service
From this date all Service 92A buses will be renumbered as Service 92 but will only operate between Taunton and Tiverton. The frequency will be increased to hourly with additional early morning and early evening journeys.
With the exception of one morning and afternoon journey, which will continue to provide travel opportunities between Cullompton and Richard Huish College on college days - buses will no longer serve Cullompton or Exeter as they do at present.
Passengers from the Taunton area wishing to travel onwards to Cullompton or Exeter will need to change at Tiverton or Willand to Stagecoach services 1, 1A or 1B. The Sunday service between Taunton and Exeter is also withdrawn.
Alternative journeys between Exeter and Taunton are available by train.
Devon County Council have analysed the number of passengers that would no longer be catered for after these changes but say numbers on the unique sections do not justify any replacements.
The new service are possibly due to funding cuts to bus services in Somerset.

“This would be an opportunity to route the new 92 service into Tiverotn via our Parkway Station.”
