Chiefs hold on against Withies
UNDER-9s
DOUBLES for both Monty Sorrell and Max Evans saw Exeter Chiefs make a solid start to 2013.
Captained by William Darnborough, Chiefs went ahead through Sorell's quickfire double, only for Withies to surge ahead with four tries of their own.
In the second half, the Chiefs' blitz defence took hold, allowing Max Evans (2), Noah Williams and man-of-the-match Harrison Greenslade to score, with some fine play from Freddie Richards.

UNDER-8s
Exeter Chiefs eventually ran out comfortable winners against a spirited Withycombe side.
The cold weather made for a sluggish start, with a number of turnovers and early errors.
But positive running resulted in plenty of scores, and the Chiefs found themselves three tries up at the break and poised to rack up a big score, but a late rally from Withycombe brought them back into contention.
Charlie Heaton headed the scoresheet for Exeter, with tries also going to Toby Bank, Finlay Davies, Toby Bank, Barney Moore, Thomas Lefebvre, Sam Wescott and Lewis Selway.
