SCHOOLCHILDREN took part in a charity Christmas card competition.

Pupils from Pinhoe C of E Primary School submitted festive artwork to be judged by competition sponsors Veitch Penny solicitors.

All sales of the cards will be donated to the firm's annual charity Dream-A-Way. The city-based charity gives people with learning and physical difficulties in the South West the chance to go on holidays and day trips with their families.

Seven-year-old Isobel Buxton won the competition with her snowman design, scooping £50 in WH Smith vouchers. Second place went to Joshua Moon, 10, who won £25 vouchers and third place went to Daniel Wilding, seven, who won £10 vouchers.
