ROCK group Coldplay have snubbed the chance to have their songs featured on US smash hit TV show Glee.

The band, led by Whitestone's Chris Martin, turned down an offer to appear on the all-singing, all-dancing show and have their songs used.

Glee's creator Ryan Murphy revealed the 33-year-old's rejection in an interview with the US media while explaining how he had got Madonna and Lady GaGa on board for the E4 series.
