A CITY band has wowed judges to win through auditions for a show which could result in them getting an album deal.

4 Minutes to Rise, previously known as Dissonance, sailed through the audition stage of Live and Unsigned 2010 and will now compete against other up-and-coming bands and artists in the regional semi-finals in Cheltenham next month.

The band members battled against hundreds of others to secure a spot in the show and now have the chance to prove they are the best in the region.

The contest culminates in a national grand final showcase in front of thousands of spectators at a festival at the 02 arena in London.
