City face Leeds opener
EXETER City will travel to former Premiership giants Leeds United on the first day of the Coca-Cola League One season.
The Grecians will make the trip to Elland Road to face the title favourites after Paul Tisdale's side sealed promotion into the third tier of English football for the first time since 1990.
City's first home league game will see them entertain relegated Norwich City at St James's Park on August 15 before Yeovil Town make the short trip to Devon on August 18.
The back-to-back home fixtures are then followed by the long trip to Carlisle United before Milton Keynes Dons are the visitors to St James's Park on August 29.
The Grecians travel to Charlton Athletic on September 26 and Bristol Rovers on December 1.
Paul Tisdale's side face a clash with Southampton at St Mary's on Boxing Day and make the long trip to Norwich City on January 9.
Over the Easter period City will entertain Colchester United on April 3 and will travel to Brentford on Easter Monday.
City's run in sees them entertain Charlton, take on Hartlepool and then welcome Huddersfield Town to St James's Park on the last day of the season.

“being a LEEDS UTD fan for 20yrs now, this is the only season i hope they don't win against another team as i would prefer Exeter City to progress further, as leeds utd have had their chances and not taken them. good luck for the coming season paul ridesdale and his team.”

“To Keith east Devon, re negative comments.
To have an opposing point of view means just that, to have a different opinion.
you choose to call it negative I on the other hand choose not to insult your intelligence.
As for ECFC Leeds?, season over from that point then?”

“i can't understand why some people are moaning about the prices going up a bit.i can take my son for £20 for both of us in the family stand! this is the first increase in 3 years when we were playing teams like forset green & altrincham now we are playing leeds ,southampton ,norwich ,charlton ,millwall etc etc.its still good value compared to other clubs”

“Wow! How great to see City on the same list as Leeds, Southampton, Norwich etc. Exciting times at St. James Park and, if ever a City team deserved support it is the current one headed by Paul Tisdale and Steve Perryman. These two have done wonders to put City on the footballing map. Now I find that, here in Canada, I can wear my City shirt and not get snidey comments from those that support "big name" clubs.”

“Still a lot cheaper than the Rugby to watch.
Top price at the City £20.00, compared to the Rugby £24.00
Pays your money takes your choice!!!!!!!!!
I know what is the better value”

“The rise in ticket prices is inevitable. As supporters we cannot expect to watch L1 football at Conference prices. If people want City to compete, they need the funds to do so. It is sad if people have to pick and choose games but that has always been the case for some. That said I'm glad I got a season ticket - looks even better value now!”
