Cllr is a victim of geography
THE news that Cllr Michael Lee has volunteered for local council code of conduct training as a result of mistakes over the Pedlerspool development is extraordinary, Planner quits after row over family links, Crediton Gazette, February 23.
After what for this councillor must surely be more than a hundred years' involvement in Mid Devon politics, it's a course in local geography he needs, not council protocol.
It reminds me of the Jelly Roll Morton story who, when asked by an elderly lady what jazz was, replied, "Lady, if you don't know by now don't mess with it!"
