College quartet called up
EXETER College will provide four of this year's England Colleges under-19s squad following successful trials in the past few weeks.
Exmouth back rower Will Hodgetts is joined by forward Harry Welch, fellow back rower Paul Davis and last year's scrum-half James Bath, with the four players all having been included for this year's international programme.
Exeter College rugby coach Jon Hill praised the progress all four had made to receive the call-ups, claiming it was no less than they deserved for their hard work in their fledgling careers.
"This is a fantastic reward for the outstanding efforts of these guys over the past 20 months," said Hill, who is also head coach of National League 3 South West side Exmouth.
