In total, around £15,000 has now been collected since the tragedy to support Geoff's family.
The event was organised by fellow fisherman and friend Phil Higgins who joined in the initial search effort for the skipper for more than 10 hours. Saturday's event featured a host of stalls and entertainment, including a bouncy castle, face painting and live music from bands including the Exmouth Shantymen and samba group Street Heat.

Businesses rallied in support of the cause together donating a number of prizes for the tombola. And a fish counter and barbecue run by local fishermen and friends of Geoff raised several thousand pounds.
It is hoped the event will become an annual celebration.
Friend Dave Kerley described the event as "amazing".
"For it to start as a children's fun day and turn into the festival it was, was a fitting tribute to Geoff," he said.
Another childhood friend, John Gosling said the generosity of local businesses had been overwhelming.
"The atmosphere was unreal," he said.
The event was opened by the Mayor of Exmouth, Cllr John Humpreys. People can donate to the Sarah Jayne Fund via the Lloyds account – sort code: 309315, account number: 20929968.
