Exeter Express and Echo

AN uplifting afternoon of great music and songs from hundreds of voices and instruments is promised at the Wren Music 30th Anniversary Concert at Exeter Cathedral.

There will be performances by five Voices In Common Folk Choirs (East Devon Folk Choir, Exeter Folk Choir, North Devon Folk Choir, Torbay Folk Choir, West Devon Folk Choir), three Rough Music Folk Orchestras (Folk Orchestra of East Devon, Folk Orchestra of North Devon, Folk Orchestra of Torbay), the Mandolin Orchestra Of Devon, and the youth folk and world vocal ensemble Roots A Capella.

This is the first event of many planned by Wren Music for 2013 – which includes a major national tour for the Wren Band with a new show.

Wren Music is Devon's folk and community arts project working with hundreds of local musicians throughout the county. More than 30,000 people take part in their events each year.
