THE future of enterprise in Mid Devon will be discussed at a public meeting in Tiverton next week.

Mid Devon District Council will hold the State of the District Debate at Petroc, formerly East Devon College, at Bolham Road, from 7pm on March 10.

Authority chairman Cllr Frank Rosamond will host the event alongside a number of business representatives from across the district.

The panel of guests will include Tim Jones, chairman of the Devon and Cornwall Business Council, Chris Prentis, chairman of the Mid Devon branch of the Federation of Small Businesses, Pippa Ferguson, head of growth from the Government Office South West, Petroc principal David Dodd, and Cllr Peter Hare-Scott, leader of Mid Devon District Council.
