Crash on Topsham Road leaves man trapped in car
Fire crews helped free a man from a car following a road traffic collision near Countess Wear in the early hours of this morning.
Devon & Somerset Fire and rescue service received the call at 02:14am and one fire appliance from Topsham, one fire appliance from Middlemoor and the Heavy Rescue Vehicle from Middlemoor were sent to the scene.

One male person was released from the vehicle by Fire Service personnel using small tools and a spine board.
The casualty was then conveyed to hospital by ambulance.
