NOW in its fourth year, the Christmas Without Cruelty Fair returned to Exeter Corn Exchange at the weekend.

There were around 30 stands offering unusual Christmas gifts and cards which have not harmed animals, humans or the environment.

The eco-friendly and cruelty-free products on sale included Fairtrade clothing, cosmetics, perfumes and make-up, charity Christmas cards, handmade chocolates, renewable energy products, treats for pets, and jewellery.

There were savoury dishes, cakes and puddings on sale at the fayre's vegetarian café – all free from animal products.

Visitors also had the chance to win a host of prizes.
