Devon scores pot hole filling success
Road workers who battle to keep Devon's road clear of ice and snow – and fill in holes in the road – have won praise from local residents in a national survey. Satisfaction with gritting and salting of roads increased - and the county scored highly on filling in potholes.
Positive feedback has seen Devon County Council maintain its rank as the second best of the 22 that took part in the 2012 National Highways and Transport Public Satisfaction Survey (NHT Survey) which saw 1,600 interviewed in Devon.
