Diesel spill on A386 near Okehampton
At 12:57pm today, fire crews from Okehampton were called to a report of a large quantity of diesel spillage following a road traffic collision on the A386 Follygate, Okehampton.
The incident involved approximately 130 litres of diesel and a small quantity of hydraulic fluids spilled on the roadway from an overturned heavy goods vehicle. The diesel was contained within a ditch on the roadside verge. Crews made the area safe using small tools and environmental packs.
