Diesel spill blamed for crashes
A road in East Devon was closed yesterday morning following a diesel spill.
The A3052 at Stafford Cross, Colyton, was affected with the fuel on the road starting at the Three Horseshoes junction with Putts Corner and heading towards Boswell Cross.
A police spokesman said they dealt with a number of minor vehicle collisions and shunts as a result of the slippery conditions.
The spill was first reported at 7.15am and police said a number of road closures were put in place while it was cleaned up.
