Fire crews have rescued a dog which became stuck down a rabbit hole this afternoon.

One appliance from Axminster and the urban search and rescue team from Exeter were called to the scene at Staveacre near Danes Hill, Dalwood, just after 2pm.

They found one Jack Russell dog which had become stuck "deep" within the rabbit hole and used small tools, lines, a thermal imaging camera and safety at heights equipment to rescue the pet unharmed.
