October has been a busy month at Duchy Timber with the appointment of three new senior members of staff at the company's Lostwithiel and Ottery St Mary sites.

Richard Field of Widegates near Looe has joined as Duchy's new Stock Controller, having previously worked for Tamar Foods. Richard will be based at the company's head office and sawmill in Lostwithiel and will be responsible for the accurate recording and tracking of the company's large stocks of sawn, planed and treated timber alongside its extensive range of crafted garden furniture, fencing and gates.

Chris Maynard of St Austell has been brought on board as the company's Marketing Coordinator. Having previously worked for design studio Leap, Chris is well used to servicing the needs of successful companies' brand and image. Chris is responsible for increasing awareness of the company brand and making sure that the company continues its success in supplying timber and manufactured products into the construction trade and to you and me for our weekends DIY.

Duchy Timber has also recruited Jeff Mason as Field Sales Executive. Jeff is a very experienced sales rep from the timber products industry; having worked for Meyer Timber for more than 20 years on both softwood and sheet material sales. Jeff is based at the Ottery St Mary branch but will be primarily on the road, helping customers with specification and purchasing from our broad material and product range.
