THE Devon Dumplings returned to winning ways with a huge 181-run win over Old Honitonians at Bradninch.

Exeter's Cameron Grainger anchored the Dumplings' innings with 103 not out. Rapid contributions came from Keith Barlow with 59 and Chris Kelmere with 52 not out as the Dumplings declared at 311 for five.

The best bowling came from Sidmouth skipper Will Murray with three for 85. Phil Tuck claimed two wickets.

The Old Honitonians' chase started steadily, with six batsmen getting into double figures. But only Murray (31) managed to make more than 20.

A late collapse was prompted by a hat-trick by Kelmere — it should have been four in four, but for a dropped catch — and the Old Boys were skittled for a meagre 130. Jack Richardson took four for 54 and Kelmere's three wickets cost 16 runs.
