A SPECIAL organ recital will be held at St Matthew's church in Newtown.

It will take place on February 11, from 4pm, and will be free. There will be a retiring collection in aid of the work of the church.

The recital is being given by the resident, and relatively new, organist Cornelis van der Wijngaard. From Holland, he has been resident in the UK for nearly two years. The recital will be a mix of Continental and English music.
