East and Mid Devon recycling centres targeted by thieves
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after two separate break-ins to recycling centres in East and Mid Devon.
The Ashley recycling centre near Tiverton and the Sutton Barton recycling centre, at Wilmington, near Honiton, were both burgled on Tuesday evening.
A quantity of batteries and scrap metal were taken from the sites.
Police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the thefts or who saw any suspicious activity near the sites to contact them on 101 quoting crime reference KA/12/539.
