England international Andress inspires Bradninch to victory

ENGLAND international Eddie Andress was on cracking form for Bradninch as he led his team to a 3-0 victory against GWR West in the billiards division of the Exeter & District Billiards & Snooker League.

Andress made a break of 94 as Bradninch took over as the new leaders of the division. Don Humphries had a break of 33 for GWR West.

Bradninch lead second-placed Polsloe & Priory B thanks to a better win record, but they beat City Transport 2-1.

Pinhoe, one point behind the leaders in third place, were 2-1 winners away to Polsloe & Priory A. Neil Duignan had a break of 54 for Pinhoe.

GWR West B moved up to second spot in snooker division one after their 3-2 victory over Pinhoe B. However, they lost their rearranged match with St Thomas A 3-2 despite a 39 break by Ian Davie.

GWR West are six points behind leaders Riley's A, who were 3-2 winners at home against GWR South A.

GWR West A recorded a 4-1 victory at Pinhoe A and City Transport beat Potters Bar A 3-2 thanks to a break of 30 by Jamie Denham. Riley's B had a 3-2 win away to St Thomas A.

Topsham Conservatives A and GWR South B remain joint leaders of division two as both teams were 3-2 winners in their matches this week.

Topsham beat third-placed Riley's C, with James Mason making a break of 31 for the winners and Rob Wills a 45 for Riley's. GWR South B won at Heavitree Conservatives.

Potters Bar B are the new leaders of division three after beating Whipton Labour 4-1 followed by a 3-2 defeat at Polsloe & Priory B.

Topsham Conservatives B are two points behind the leaders following a 3-2 loss to Pinhoe E and a 3-2 win over St Thomas C.

St Thomas C beat Riley's D 4-1 and Pinhoe F had a 4-1 victory over St Thomas D.

Division four leaders GWR South C were 3-2 winners over GWR South D while City Transport B beat GWR West D 3-2.

St Thomas F recorded a 5-0 win against Civil Service C and Broadclyst were 4-1 winners away to GWR West C.
