Exeter Quay prepares for flooding
Businesses and homes around the River Exe are preparing for the worst tonight as more rain is expected to hit the area.
The rain is likely to return with an expected 30 mm in the South West.
In its updated weather prediction the Met Office warns that the public in Exeter should get ready for another round of travel disruption and flooding as more heavy rain is set to fall onto already saturated ground.
The South West Environment Agency and Exeter Council have provided sandbags for buildings at risk in the area. See picture.
