An Exeter-based networking group has said its membership has flourished since it was established by four solicitors in October 2010.

The Gilbert Stephens Young Professional Network recently welcomed its 100th member.

The network was founded by law firm Gilbert Stephens lawyers Alexandra Croft, Isabel Warne, Claire Veness and Kim McDonald. They aimed to create something new, after attending a number of networking events where everyone "already knew each other and were generally from an older age bracket."

Ms Croft said: "We have such a diverse range of members, from legal and charity representatives to property and financial, that there is never any shortage of topical issues to talk about."
