Exeter man accused of attempted murder appears at crown court
A city man accused of attempted murder has appeared at Exeter Crown Court.
Sean Hills, of Geneva Court, Exeter, is charged with the attempted murder of Lee Evans. The 25-year-old stood in the dock and spoke only to confirm his name during the brief hearing. No plea was entered to the charge.
A date for a plea and case management hearing was set for Friday, May 24. A provisional trial date was set for November.
Hills is accused of stabbing Evans in the neck, head and shoulder.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in the early hours of Thursday, February 14, at a property in Geneva Court.
A knife is alleged to have been used in the incident.
Mr Evans was taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital for treatment.
Hills was remanded in custody and is expected to next appear at Exeter Crown Court on Friday, May 24.
A second man, aged 23, was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries until Tuesday, May 14.
