Exeter man accused of running "cannabis factory" and stealing police armour
AN Exeter man has baan accused of running a "cannabis factory" and stealing police body armour.
Michael Armstrong, 27, of Arena Park, faces four charges. Exeter magistrates heard that he produced 40 cannabis plants, a Class B drug, on August 2 and, on the same date, had 5.9 kilograms of amphetamine in his possession, also a Class B drug.

It is also alleged that he stole the body armour in Exeter on November 19 last year, when he also had seven cannabis plants in his possession.
Magistrates committed the case to Exeter Crown Court and the next hearing will take place on March 22.
