Exeter man to be charged with building society robbery in Cowick Street
A 37 year old man from Exeter is due to appear before Exeter Magistrates this morning charged with attempted robbery of a building society.
Barry Christopher Little from Topsham road was arrested just after 3pm on Tuesday 15 January after staff in the building society in Cowick Street, St Thomas reported that they had been threatened by a man with a knife.

He was ejected from the premises before police attended and made the arrest.
He was then interviewed before being charged and kept in custody overnight for court today.
