Exeter man charged with theft of communion wine and charity boxes
A 56-year-old man from the Exeter area has been charged with theft of communion wine in Ide and theft of charity boxes at Okehampton.
David Hughes, who is presently of no fixed address, has also been charged with burglary in Swansea and Bury St Edmunds, going equipped in Colyton, and bilking in Yelverton, South Molton, Camelford and Tintagel.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the offences took place between 2007 and October 2012.
Hughes was arrested yesterday in Colyton in connection with a going equipped offence.

He was charged following a police interview and was due to appear before Exeter Magistrates’ this morning.
