Exeter students are among the happiest
University of Exeter students are among the most satisfied in the UK with their university, according to this year's National Student Survey.
Exeter ranks sixth out of traditional universities and has maintained its top 10 position since the survey was first launched. Of full service universities, Exeter ranks third for students' satisfaction with the quality of teaching and fifth for overall satisfaction.
University of Exeter Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Janice Kay said: "We would very much like to thank our 2012 finalists for completing the National Student Survey, yet again putting us in the Top 10 - and even higher than in 2011. We really value their feedback, and are closely studying not only how they scored us, but what they had to say. We hope to address their feedback and to do even better in the 2013 NSS. Our high ranking reflects the dedication of our staff, who work so hard to ensure our students have the best experience."
The National Student Survey includes data from 272 UK colleges and universities. Final year students are asked to rate their experience in teaching, assessment and feedback, academic support, organisation and management, learning resources, personal development and overall satisfaction.

“That's because they have our cheap housing, our part-time jobs and are constantly smashed making a nuisance. Occasionally they go and study but because Daddy is minted, it doesn't really matter.”
