Exeter vs Aldershot: Grecians and Shots share stalemate
Exeter and Aldershot battled out a dire goalless draw at St James Park, with a point doing little for City's promotion aspirations or the Shots' hopes of avoiding relegation.
It was a desperately poor first half on a rotten pitch but Aldershot looked more likely to score, especially from set plays and corners.

Asa Hall saw a header hit the crossbar just seconds after Danny Hylton's effort had been saved by home goalkeeper Artur Krysiak.
Exeter's best chance fell to Jamie Cureton, but the ball got stuck under his feet when through on goal and in the end his shot was easily saved by Jamie Young.

Troy Brown headed over the bar as Exeter failed to clear a corner and Oliver Risser's fierce volley was well held by Krysiak.
City barely posed a threat but they did have the ball in the net only for Guillem Bauza to be flagged offside.
Aldershot were happy to play for time as the minutes ticked by and Exeter lacked the quality to break them down, despite seeing more of the ball.

“Tis isn't the only one who needs to be carefull what he says.
With the fare served up at home this season the loyal fan base needs more respect or we won't be back.
I still love the 'City til I die' singers behind me at the Torquay match - having commented to each other that it was their first visit since the pre-seasson friendlies - there could be more of us soon”

“Mr Tisdale's post match interview, with Radio Devon made him sound petulant and sarcastic. If he feels that people will continue to pay arond £20 a time to wath matches like this then I think he's in for a disappointment. Just look at the falling atendance figures.
I'v always been a fan of the Manager but I think his relatonship with the fans is suffering from his poor PR skills. We're not all on figure salaries Paul and, as a Trust member and a season ticket holder, I think I'm entitled to voice an opinion without the type of reaction you showed on Saturday.”
