Devon County Council has added an extra drop session for the community to its new round of consultation on plans for Exeter Central Library.

The redevelopment project team will be in the Children’s Library on Saturday 29 September from 10am – 1pm with the latest drawings, 3d visuals and information about the proposed changes.

The event will give people who were not able to make the previous consultation events, which were held earlier this month, another opportunity to see what the building could look like, as well as ask questions and talk to members of the project team.

Councillor Roger Croad, Devon County Council Cabinet Member for Communities, said: "Central Library is an important community resource, and we want the Exeter community to have every opportunity to be part of this redevelopment. This extra date on Saturday means that people who work office hours during the week, or could not make it into the city centre during the days the previous sessions were on, will still have the opportunity to see the designs, talk to the project team and help shape the redevelopment."
