Fan attacks Wycombe keeper
A TEENAGER has been charged after Wycombe Wanderers goalkeeper Jordan Archer was attacked in the closing stages of their match against Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium on Monday night.
The 17-year-old from Rochester has been charged with common assault and Section 4 of the Football Offences Act. Archer did not receive treatment, following the incident and carried on for the remaining few seconds of the match. The teenager is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on March 12.
Meanwhile Exeter City's opponents on Saturday Morecambe have rewarded striker Jack Redshaw with a new one-year contract with the League Two club.
"I know that he loves the place and I think he's improving," said Shrimps boss Jim Bentley.

Cheltenham Town boss Mark Yates has also confirmed that Marlon Pack is still part of his plans despite player almost moving to Swindon on transfer deadline day.
He had agreed a move to Swindon, but the Football League refused to ratify the deal because a proposed takeover of the League One club had not been completed.
